C40 / C55 are compact wall-mounted boilers that can be located in many situations; because of their small size and flexible flue options, these boilers do not need a dedicated plant room; this can eliminate the need for long costly heating pipe-runs in many building complexes.
A turbo fan draws in fresh air and exhausts the combustion waste through the flue. Both the air inlet and flue exhaust are standard 50mm plumbing waste pipe and can be extended up to 15 metres.
If 75mm pipe is used, the flue can be extended to 45 metres.

These boilers have high quality stainless steel heat exchangers with special downward firing burners that operate on a low flame temperature; this reduces combustion pollutants such as CO (carbon monoxide) and NOx (Nitrous Oxide) to extremely low levels.

The C40 / C55 has dual thermostats enabling two heat settings to be selected. This can be particularly useful when combining LTHW systems (underfloor heating, fan coil or pool heating) with domestic hot water.

The C90 / C110 are wall mounted low mass, low water-content boilers that respond quickly when there is a call for heat. They feature: full user diagnostics, integral frost protection function, automatic pump exercise in periods of inactivity and anti-cycle control.
Integral modulating shunt pumps ensure the heat exchangers receive the correct water-flow when firing and operate at optimum efficiency.

Dual flow technology
The boilers provide two flow and return tapping pairs for separate connection; for example heating and hot water circuits. The boilers can deliver two different flow temperatures at the same time allowing, for instance, ultra rapid DHW indirect cylinder recovery with high flow temperatures whilst maintaining low temperature heating output for underfloor or weather compensated heating. Apart from providing perfect operating conditions for such applications, this integral ability saves on pipework and controls normally required on such systems.

MULTI-BOILER PREFABRICATED RIGS

The Keston concept has an established history of reliability with thousands of boilers being successfully installed in commercial, industrial and domestic premises throughout North America and Europe.

The modular design means almost any heating output can be achieved. The SEDBUK 'A' rating of our complete range ensures peak operating efficiencies and minimum running costs.

Factories, commercial and public buildings, ranging from schools, blocks of flats, offices, hotels, pubs and restaurants through to sports halls, department stores, hospitals and museums, are just some of the applications that have benefited from installing Keston condensing boilers.
New Zealand installations have included prisons, learning institutions, council buildings, nurseries and swimming pools.

The Keston Rigs are delivered to site pre-assembled and incorporate up to five units within a floor standing frame and up to 20 boilers operating in sequence across multiple frames. A dual boiler wall-hung rig is also available. The units are pre-piped to a single balance header.

The Modular Approach
The compact size and versatility of the Keston makes it the perfect solution for a modular system, offering the designer complete freedom of choice.

A boiler sequencer is included to ensure optimum use of plant to meet demand and rotation of lead unit.

The balance header includes tappings for air vent, fill point / expansion vessel, drain off and system flow and return. The number and size of system tappings is as per the customer's own specification.


Rig Options
In today's complex design approach it's common to have systems which require a number of different flow temperatures such as underfloor heating, weather compensation, DHW via indirect cylinder, air handling units, etc; the Keston plant rig approach can solve this problem by incorporating diverter valves to selected boiler(s). In this way, the selected boilers can be seconded from serving the main system flow to serve another requirement at another flow temperature. Once this requirement is satisfied, the selected boilers are diverted back to join the other boilers serving the system at the main flow temperature. Whilst the boilers are seconded away, the rig controller automatically increases the power demand from the remaining boilers to compensate. This can be repeated with other boilers at other temperatures to meet user requirements.

Indeed, Keston can accommodate almost any rig requirement including integrated DHW storage, system pumps, pressurization units and more.
